Ducis Rodgers
Ducis Rodgers is the Action News Sports Director whose job often takes him on the road, into the locker room and onto the field with the area's teams. You'll also find him weeknights on Action News at 6pm, 11pm and Action News at 10 on PHL17.

Ducis joined the Action News sports team in August 2012. Prior to joining Action News, Ducis spent several years at the ESPN anchor desk as a host of Sportscenter and Outside the Lines. Ducis was also a play-by-play announcer for the NCAA Baseball Regionals, and spent some time on ESPN First Take. Before his time at ESPN, Rodgers worked for WCBS-TV in New York as Sports Director, lead sports anchor and sports reporter from 2003 to 2009. He has covered Super Bowls, World Series and has travelled with the New York Yankees for the team's week-long trip to Tokyo to start the 2004 season.

Rodgers began his career as an anchor/reporter at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and as a sports anchor at WSVN-TV in Miami. While at WSVN, he was named Miami New Times Best Sportscaster in 2003.

A native of Chicago, Rodgers graduated on the Dean's List from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in broadcast journalism. He and his wife, Diana, live in New Jersey with their two sons.
